Redcon1 turns its original amino Breach into a simpler BCAA-only product

redcon1 reformulates breach

Breach is one of the first supplements Redcon1 launched with a BCAA-based formula, also featuring coconut water, glycerol, taurine, and electrolytes. The two-time Brand Of The Year winner went on to release a spin-off of the product in Breach Ballistic, which combines most of those main ingredients with choline bitartrate, caffeine, and theobromine for extra energy and focus.

Almost four years on from that initial launch in 2016, Redcon1 has reformulated, reflavored, and repriced Breach, turning it into a simpler supplement. The product is now an entirely BCAA-based, with none of the additional taurine, glycerol, or hydration ingredients. It still comes with the same dosage of BCAAs at 5g in each of its 30 servings, and at the usual BCAA ratio of 2:1:1.

As mentioned, Redcon1 Breach has also been reflavored and repriced. The tastes on its menu are said to be richer with six to choose from in Strawberry Kiwi, Blueberry Lemonade, Sour Apple, Pineapple Banana, Watermelon, and Tiger’s Blood. Its price is 33% less than the original, which stood at $29.99, while the simpler version of Breach is just $19.99 for a 30 serving tub.
