Be Legend goes super sour lemon for its latest limited edition release

The Japanese brand Be Legend is one of the busier brands when it comes to new flavors and expansions, even more so regarding unique and limited edition flavors. The company has become known for its awesome manga and anime collaborations, as well as turning popular local foods and flavors into flavors of protein powder such as Amazake from earlier this year, made with sake.

This month Be Legend has dropped another limited-edition flavor of its whey-based protein powder, and continues to prove just how different it can be. The Japanese brand’s latest creation is named Demon Lemon, which is an extremely sour lemon-flavored protein powder. It still packs a high protein nutrition profile with 20g of protein, 6.9g of carbohydrates, 1.6g of fat, and 120 calories.

Those of you in Japan can purchase Be Legend’s Demon Lemon protein powder from its retail partner Real Style, but you’ll want to be quick. The brand has only produced 3,000 units of the sour lemon supplement, with the one size available in a 1kg bag priced at ¥3,200 (30.28 USD).
