While the functional brand FitJoy started out with protein bars, even when it went through its major rebrand and relaunch, it has since introduced products that are more about being great alternatives than high in protein. FitJoy now also offers plant-based, grain-free pretzels and pretzel sticks, peanut butter-filled pretzel nuggets, and at one point, it had protein puffs.
The grain-free pretzels and sticks appear to be the product FitJoy has been putting a lot of its focus on, welcoming a number of new flavors this year, including Hatch Chile Lime from just last month. This week, the growing brand is welcoming yet another addition to its pretzels menu with White Cheddar, promising a classic cheesy, aged white cheddar taste.
FitJoy’s White Cheddar grain-free pretzels are in stock on its website at $3.99 for a 4.5oz bag. The macros on the product are the same as the others with 22.5g of fat per bag, 85.5g of carbohydrates, 4.5g of protein, and 540 calories. As mentioned and as you can see, the idea of the product is more the grain-free approach, not so much a high protein, low-calorie angle.
