Energy Cake keeps the sugar low as promised in its new Pocket Cake

Back in November, European functional brand Energy Cake released a custom advent calendar to make the 24 days leading up to Christmas that little more exciting. The calendar was packed full of the brand’s title snack, Energy Cake, in 19 different flavors, as well as an entirely new item, exclusive to the advent calendar with the oat-based Pocket Cake.

Energy Cake has now launched Pocket Cake, which, compared to the brand’s original snack, is smaller in size although still somewhat heavy at 80g a piece, lower in sugar, and available in seven tasty flavors. Of course, the macros do vary from flavor to flavor, with the Double Chocolate Pocket Cake having a low 5.28g of protein, 17.7g of fat, 39.8g of carbohydrates with only 370mg of that sugar, and a calorie count of 330.

The six other flavors that make up Energy Cake’s Pocket Cake menu are Apple Strudel, Original, Chocolate Banana, the simply named ‘Nut’, Apricot, and Cappuccino. The smaller on-the-go, oat-based snack is available now through the brand’s website at €18.99 (23.35 USD) for a box of 15, or for €1 more, you can make your own box and pick each flavor.
