Salted Caramel on the way to Redcon1’s milkshake-like MRE RTD

redcon1 salted caramel mre rtd

For Black Friday last year, Redcon1 released its long-awaited ready-to-drink version of its original, wholefood-based meal replacement, MRE, in a variety of flavors. The product had been previewed several months earlier in six flavors, although it only had four on that initial launch with Milk Chocolate, Vanilla Milkshake, Blueberry Cobbler, and Strawberry Shortcake.

We found Redcon1’s MRE RTD to be one of the best-tasting RTDs we’d had from a US brand, coming through with a good amount of flavor and a milkshake-like experience. The two-time Brand Of The Year has now announced that a fifth flavor is on the way for its on-the-go protein shake, and it’s neither of the two from that six it previewed near the beginning of last year.

Coming soon to Redcon1’s MRE RTD is a sweet and salty, Salted Caramel flavor, still packing the product’s 40g of protein per bottle and from wholefood sources.
