Japanese brand Be Legend has done many collaborations over the years we’ve followed, teaming up with various pop culture anime, manga, and characters for special edition flavors of its protein powder. The brand has now announced its next new collaboration, and it’s quite different from its others, not in terms of format or final product, but who Be Legend has partnered with.
The supplement company has joined forces with popular fitness YouTuber Koala Koarashi, who is also out of Japan. The two have come together and created a lengthily named flavor of protein powder which translates to “Mixed Juice Flavor at Coffee Shop in Osaka”. The collaboration flavor is a fruit punch type recipe, combining the familiar tastes of apple, banana, and orange.
Another feature unique to Be Legend’s Mixed Juice Flavor at Coffee Shop in Osaka, is the brand has put Koala Koarashi himself on the front of the packaging. The product itself features a fairly typical protein powder formula providing 20.6g of protein per serving from whey concentrate, 3.9g of carbohydrates with only 100mg of that sugar. 1.8g of fat, and a total of 112 calories
Be Legend may have revealed its Koala Koarashi collaboration this week, although it’s going to be a while before it becomes available. The brand is currently looking to launch its Mixed Juice Flavor at Coffee Shop protein powder in about four weeks on the 25th of next month, and as always, its retail partner Real Style will be the first place with it in stock and available.
