Good Idea looks to lower blood sugar and improve metabolism with its debut beverage

Good Idea Functional Beverage

Co-founders of the popular beverages Oatly and Fiji Water have come together to create an all-new functional drink, although it is not the caffeinated product we typically see in the category. Good Idea is a new brand and beverage that aims to help reduce blood sugar, enhance metabolism, and help you utilize the food you put in your body more efficiently for better energy.

Good Idea’s flagship functional drink is along the lines of a glucose disposal agent; however, we don’t get the variety of ingredients and solid dosages seen in the well-put-together supplements from sports nutrition brands. Good Idea’s beverage has an unlisted amount of five different amino acids in leucine, threonine, lysine, isoleucine, and valine, and chromium picolinate.

There is a whole section on Good Idea’s website as to why it selected those specific aminos and chromium, as they were used in studies and showed the benefits the brand is promoting for its drink. The product also features electrolytes, zinc, and it’s completely nutritionally friendly, having no fat, sugar, or carbohydrates with zero calories per can in any of its three flavors.

Good Idea’s functional beverage comes in Wild Berry, Black Currant, and Sea Berry flavors, and is available for purchase directly from the brand’s own online store at goodidea.us. The product has three bulk options to choose from in bundles of 12, 24, and 36 cans, although they all work out to the same $35.88 per 12, unless you grab the VIP sampler at $16.99 with a can of each flavor.
