Whey Gold from PVL gets a more eco-friendly size option in a 1lb pouch

Pvl Whey Gold Eco Pak

Whey Gold is Pure Vita Labs’ more cost-effective whey-based protein powder compared to its popular whey isolate-powered supplement, ISO Gold. Whey Gold brings together a blend of three separate sources in whey concentrate, whey isolate, and hydrolyzed whey to provide a solid 24g of protein per serving with 8g of carbohydrates and 150 calories.

The brand, better known as PVL, has Whey Gold available in its home country of Canada in large 6lb tubs at the likes of Popeye’s for a competitive $79.99 (62.66 USD). While the supplement does already have that giant 6lb tub available on shelves, the brand has now come out with something on the other end of the spectrum in terms of size with a 1lb bag.

PVL is calling the much smaller option for Whey Gold the Eco-Pak, proudly promoting on the face of the product that it’s much more environmentally friendly, requiring 90% less packaging. The 1lb bag is not as cost-effective as the 6lb tub coming in at $29.99 (35 USD) on the brand’s website, although it’s a great option to cart around and take with you on the go.
