Most of the flavor extensions we see from the South African supplement company Metalab are for either or both of its protein powders, the blend-style Bridge and isolate-based ISO-Bridge. In fact, the last five releases we saw from the brand were all flavors in the competitive protein category, including the Christmas edition Red Velvet Chocolate Mint and the unique Rooibos Tea.
In the coming weeks or months, Metalab is launching another flavor extension, although this time it’s not for Bridge or ISO-Bridge, but the amino-based intra-workout Moonwalk. The well-marketed brand actually reformulated Moonwalk eight months ago, maintaining all of its original highlights and adding the premium performance and endurance ingredient Senactiv at 50mg per serving.
At the moment, Metalab’s Moonwalk can be found in two flavors with Mango Ice Tea and Cherry Limeade. The brand’s upcoming third option will be a bit of a tropical taste in the classic combination of kiwi and strawberry, simply named Kiwi Strawberry. The new Moonwalk flavor will be available first through Metalab’s online store, where a tub of 25 servings costs R499 (31.31 USD).
