Battletoads was a video game released way back in the early 90s in response to the game based on the original comic book franchise and now household name, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Battletoads revolves around three mutant toad warriors, awfully similar, of course, to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, with three characters in the team, all named after skin conditions in Rash, Zitz, and Pimple.
The gaming giant G Fuel has just announced its latest collaboration, and it is indeed in partnership with Battletoads. The two have come together to create a special edition flavor of the brand’s energy and focus-supporting supplement called Zitz Juice. The title obviously doesn’t tell you much about the taste, although fortunately, G Fuel itself has described the concoction, saying it’s a sweet and sour green mango recipe.
We certainly can’t talk about G Fuel and Battletoads’ upcoming Zitz Juice collaboration without also bringing up the product Ghost did only a few months ago. We certainly find it interesting that G Fuel has created this flavor as it was in April of this year that Ghost teamed up with Battletoads’ rival, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, for an absolutely delicious flavor called Turtles Ooze for its G Fuel competitor, Ghost Gamer.
The pre-order launch date for G Fuel and Battletoads’ Zitz Juice appears to be one week from today, on Wednesday of next week, when you’ll be able to order the special edition collaboration flavor. As per usual, the gaming brand will have the supplement available in a full-size tub of 40 servings and in a limited time Collector’s Box featuring a tub and a matching Battletoads-themed shaker bottle.
