A few weeks ago, images got out of the first-ever authentic flavor collaborations from the iconic amino brand Xtend, known for its original BCAA-based supplement also named Xtend. The legacy sports nutrition company has partnered with the legendary candy Airheads, and while initially we only had pictures of two, there are indeed three flavors Xtend has put together in partnership with Airheads.
Now available through Xtend’s official online store at cellucor.com, are authentic Airheads Cherry, Airheads Blue Raspberry, and White Mystery, inspired by the classic mystery Airheads candy of the same name. All three of the collaborations have been produced for the brand’s flagship supplement, Xtend Original, and while their formula is close to the usual, there are some interesting differences.
According to the Xtend website, the authentic Airheads flavors of Xtend Original have the signature 7g of BCAAs and 2.5g of glutamine, but no gram of citrulline malate, and a small difference in electrolytes with less potassium. Despite the changes in formula, Airheads Cherry, Blue Raspberry, and White Mystery cost the same as any other flavor of Xtend Original at $27.99 for a tub of 30 full servings.
