Project #1 Nutrition has undergone impressive growth since coming to market about three-quarters of a year ago when it debuted with four different sports nutrition supplements. The rising brand has since added more products for other mainstream categories like amino and protein powder, it introduced an alternatively branded and completely organic series, and last week it announced it’s coming to the retailer GNC.
The excitement is not stopping in the last week of April as Project #1 Nutrition has shared another significant bit of news; although this is not a line extension or any sort of distribution update but it is of equal importance. The up-and-coming supplement company has announced its first premier athlete, and it is not the usual bodybuilding star in the legendary wrestler, Olympic Gold medalist, and WWE superstar Kurt Angle.
As mentioned, Kurt Angle is the first premier athlete for Project #1 Nutrition, and he is certainly a big one, with a sizeable 1.6 million followers on Instagram, and again, he is not the usual bodybuilder or fitness influencer, really opening the brand up to a whole new audience. At just four months into the year, Project #1 is certainly making itself known, and we suspect it is only beginning with more in store throughout the year.
