Applied expands its hydration offerings with a product in effervescent tablets

Applied Nutrition Electrolyte Tablets

The hydration category is moving and evolving quickly, with companies not only getting involved week after week but many of them bringing intriguing approaches that aren’t the typical bulk tub of electrolytes. The international giant Applied Nutrition from the UK already had its hands in the space with hydration-supporting gels, the popular Bodyfuel beverage, and its hybrid supplement Amino Hydrate, and joining those items this week is a similarly minded product but in a very different format.

The latest from Applied Nutrition is Electrolyte Tablets, bringing together essential electrolytes to support hydration and performance, and a complementing dose of vitamin C, all squeezed into effervescent tablets. For those not familiar with the classic format, they are tablets that you simply throw in a glass of water or bottle, and they dissolve. It’s not a common type of supplement these days, but classic and convenient nonetheless and one that Applied is putting to use to further its hydration offerings.

Applied Nutrition’s Electrolyte Tablets are available now in the UK and they don’t cost all that much at £5.99 (7.41 USD) for a tube of 20 single-serving tablets or £30 (37.12 USD) for a box of six tubes in your choice of two traditional fruity flavors, with a citrusy Orange or Lemon Lime.
