Quest relaunches its protein beverage with a new look and an improved taste

New And Improved Quest Protein Shake

Compared to the likes of the UK and Europe, there aren’t that many protein RTDs in the major US market, although there is still a nice variety to choose from, and they’re mostly from major sports nutrition companies like Redcon1, Labrada Nutrition, and Premier Protein. Quest Nutrition added its name to that list a few years ago, quickly following its acquisition by Simply Good Foods for a huge $1 billion dollars, introducing the Quest Protein Shake, packing 30g of protein and available in three enjoyable flavors.

Since the debut of the Quest Protein Shake, the functional powerhouse Quest Nutrition has not made any changes to the product, and that means no added flavors too, continuing to have its original three to choose from in Chocolate, Vanilla, and Salted Caramel. To start the New Year, the long-running brand has decided to revamp its ready-to-drink offering, giving it a fresh new look, as you can see above, greatly improving the taste, and keeping all of that same reliable nutrition, including the 30g of protein a shake.

Quest Nutrition hasn’t changed the list of ingredients in the Quest Protein Shake all that much, most notably now relying on milk concentrate and isolate to provide its protein, not just concentrate. The macros are practically the same with that 30g of protein alongside 3 to 4g of carbohydrates, only a gram of that sugar, 3 to 3.5g of fat, and 170 calories. The same three flavors have been carried over, but again, the brand is promising a better taste experience, so fans should expect something a bit more enjoyable.

The new and improved Quest Protein Shake has already begun shipping out of Quest Nutrition’s online store, although it is saying that it is between stock, so if you purchase directly, you may get the new version or the original. Over at questnutrition.com, you’ll pay $11.49 for a pack of four cartons of the Quest Protein Shake, or if you want to try the entire collection, there is a variety bundle with two sets of each flavor working out to $10.66 a pack, plus 10% off everything if you subscribe for regular delivery.
