The popular and widely available brand has launched another size of its highest protein drink, the Orgain High Protein Shake. There are now two sizes of this one on the market, with the original 11oz carton being joined by a plastic bottle with a volume of 14oz.
The protein in the Orgain High Protein Shake comes from a blend of milk isolate and concentrate, and in the newly released larger 14oz, that provides 38g of muscle-building protein, 6g of carbohydrates, just a gram of that sugar, 4g of fat, and 200 calories. That is essentially a scaled-up version of what you get in the carton Orgain High Protein Shake, giving consumers the choice to easily throw down 26% more protein from a single beverage.
If you like the look of that extra protein, 8g to be exact, you will sacrifice on flavors, as there are half as many to choose from. The bigger 14oz Orgain High Protein Shake has carried over two of the original’s tastes in Chocolate Fudge and Vanilla Bean, leaving behind Cafe Latte and Fruity Cereal. You will pay more for the larger variety and its 38g of protein, as direct that additional 26% more protein comes with a 39% higher price per bottle.
