Barebells gives Germany an exclusive flavor of its plant-powered protein bar

Caramel Peanut Barebells Vegan Protein Bar

If you’ve ever wanted Barebells’ signature candy bar-like protein snacking experience, but for a vegan-friendly lifestyle, there is the Barebells Vegan Protein Bar. It has been around for a few years, initially hitting the market in Salty Peanut and Hazelnut Nougat, similar to a couple of flavors on the menu of the flagship Barebells Protein Bar. The Swedish brand did eventually add an option for chocolate lovers in Chocolate Dough, although, since that extension in late 2020, we have not seen any more tastes added.

Barebells is finally giving back to its original, plant-based Barebells Vegan Protein Bar, the first new flavor for the tasty chocolate-covered protein snack since 2020. Making it four flavors for the on-the-go product is Caramel Peanut, blending crunchy peanuts, salty caramel — which the brand has proven time and time again that it nails — and all wrapped in rich chocolate. The macros on the new Caramel Peanut Barebells Vegan Protein Bar come in at 15g of protein, 9.8g of fat, 21g of carbohydrates, and 205 calories.

Interestingly, while most of Barebells innovations go live first in its home country of Sweden, that is not the case on this one. Instead, the Caramel Peanut Barebells Vegan Protein Bar is launching specifically in Germany, where this product has proven to be rather popular, essentially giving back to those who appreciate it. It is officially releasing this week, so those in that country will want to keep a close eye on shelves, and as for everywhere else, there is nothing set yet for Caramel Peanut beyond Germany.
