Australian retailer Elite Supplements kicks off its own brand of products with The Elite Shake

Elite Supplements The Elite Shake

The house brand approach has become a popular one, where supplement stores and sports nutrition retailers make their own line of products and sell them directly to the customers they know all too well. The strategy has spawned some solid competitors like MTS Nutrition from Tiger Fitness, Beyond Raw from GNC, and the Swedish powerhouse Viking Power from MM Sports. Elite Supplements in Australia recently became another retailer that has its own selection and under its own original name.

The first innovation from Elite Supplements is The Elite Shake, a meal replacement that combines quality sources of protein, clean carbohydrates, MCTs, and a selection of vitamins and minerals for general health and to make the product a robust meal solution. The nutrition breakdown of the supplement is led by 31.6g of protein, 8.7g of carbohydrates with just under half of that sugar, 2.9g of fat, and 189 calories, and to aid in digestion and gut health, the store has added the premium Lactospore probiotic.

Interestingly, Elite Supplements has transparently dosed the macros in The Elite Shake, something that is extremely rare, revealing that the 31g of protein is from 30g of milk concentrate and 8g of whey concentrate, and there is 7g of sweet potato contributing to the carbohydrates. As far as lean and nutritious meal replacements go, the Australia supplement store has strung together an impressive and respectable one, and it is available at $49.90 (33.20 USD) for a small bag of 13 servings in three flavors.
