Tomorrow is the big day for Axe and Sledge Supplements and its return to the sports nutrition retailer, GNC. Yesterday we posted about the brand getting back on shelves at the store with a new and exclusive flavors of its JST WRK Energy Drink with Grape Soda. That is not all the long-running Axe and Sledge is bringing to the table, it has two completely new and exclusive supplements for GNC as well, one of which is a more cost-effective protein powder in Whey More.
At the moment, Axe and Sledge Supplements has three protein powders available, all and only one of those are your more traditional whey-based competitor in Farm Fed, while the others are the meal replacement Home Made and vegan-friendly Plant Fed. Whey More isn’t a pure whey isolate like Farm Fed, instead, it has a blend of mostly whey concentrate then whey isolate, giving it that stronger value. The nutrition profile is still solid, sitting at 24g of protein per serving, 2 to 4g of carbohydrates, just 2g of that sugar, 2 to 2.5g of fat, and calories from 120 to 130.
Again, Axe and Sledge Supplements Whey More is a protein powder that is centered more around value than its original grass-fed whey isolate product Farm Fed, priced direct at $54.99 for a 2lb tub. We’re not sure on the price of Whey More, but it will be far less than Farm Fed, and have just as many servings at 30, each packing that 24g of protein. There are going to be two flavors to choose from right out of the gate in Brownie Batter Delight and Grizzly Honey Graham.
