Since cementing itself in the competitive US market and building out a strong presence in major retailers and specialty stores, the number one protein bar maker, Barebells, has released a few flavors you could only find and purchase in America. Those exclusives have included a seasonal Pumpkin Spice, the deliciously smooth Peanut Butter, and the most recent, Birthday Cake, all for the brand’s signature and still our top-rated protein bar in the world, the self-titled Barebells Protein Bar.
Barebells now looks like it is about to do another flavor that’ll be available first in America, and very likely — similar to Pumpkin Spice, Peanut Butter, and Birthday Cake — never go outside of that market. The brand has posted a teaser featuring three blank spaces, one with a key, nothing in the middle, and a pie at the end. It shouldn’t take anyone very long to figure out that a lime is what belongs in the center of the puzzle and we’re definitely getting a Key Lime Pie Barebells Protein Bar.
We can’t be absolutely certain a Key Lime Pie flavor of Barebells’ signature protein snack is what’s around the corner, although we’re confident enough to say it’s around 99% certain. It could be Key Lime Pie for a completely different product, and that would be a fun twist, although since we’ve only seen it do exclusive flavors in the US for the Barebells Protein Bar, again, we feel it’s a safe bet.
