Novo moves into Lidl with its flavorful protein chips and potentially more than 10,000 stores

Novo Launches Protein Pops In Lidl

One of the most crucial parts of success when it comes to protein snacks, functional foods, and other on-the-go items is distribution. Being available at major convenience stores, supermarkets, and key retailers can get a brand and product seen by all sorts of people that an online presence may not reach, and it also serves as a way for those who are already fans to have easier access. Novo Nutrition in the United Kingdom does this very well but has just elevated its distribution with a massive partnership.

One of Novo Nutrition’s more recently released offerings, the light and crunchy Protein Pops, has found its way into Lidl, the grocery store giant, and its monumental total of over 1,000 locations throughout the United Kingdom. The experienced functional food specialist’s protein-packed chips with 10g of protein per bag, next to no sugar, and reasonable carbohydrates and calories, have launched in Lidl in three of its many traditional tastes in Sour Cream and Onion, Barbecue, and Salt and Vinegar.

While it will be Lidl locations in the United Kingdom to start, Novo Nutrition’s new partnership could potentially and may very likely lead to the presence of Protein Pops in its many other markets across Europe. More than 1,000 stores are huge, although if the protein snack brand and its protein chips do expand into Europe with Lidl, that’ll add a further staggering 12,000 locations.
