Muscle nation has teamed up with one of Australia’s most iconic foods

Muscle Nation Vegemite Protein Puffs

Vegemite is one of the most unique foods in Australia and New Zealand, iconic for its jet black color but it is intensely enjoyed by many in that part of the world with its salty and malty flavor. Traditionally, it’s a spread you throw in a sandwich or on toast, but the Australia-born one-of-a-kind experience has found its way into other formats by way of collaborations. With partnerships being such a thing in the sports nutrition industry, it was undoubtedly only a matter of time before Vegemite made it into our world.

The ever-creative and hugely successful Muscle Nation, which is an Australian brand and no stranger to collaborations and partnerships, has gotten together with the legendary Vegemite and made a flavor of its light and crunchy Protein Puffs. The new and upcoming Vegemite Protein Puffs combines the crispy consistency of the protein snack with that signature Vegemite taste and a touch of cheese, alongside the reasonable nutrition profile of the product, including 17.4.g of protein in a sizeable and filling 60g bag.

Knowing what Vegemite tastes like, it is going to be very interesting to see if Muscle Nation can do the Australian classic justice with that cheese infusion, delivering all of its salty, tangy goodness in a crispy puff snack plus the base taste of the heightened protein. With such a strong presence in supermarkets, this is a huge move by the sports nutrition company, as it’ll go off in stores like that with the familiarity of Vegemite, and in turn, spreading awareness of functional foods and, of course, Muscle Nation.
