Alpha Sports gives its signature pre-workout a look to match its energy drink

Alpha Sports Rebrand

The edgy sports nutrition brand Alpha Sports Nutrition in South Africa is definitely a stand-out in its part of the world, taking part in all sorts of categories, including pre-workout and protein powder, and even energy drinks with Rush Clean Energy. The name of the brand’s signature stimulant pre-workout is Rush — the inspiration behind the Rush beverage — and it has been given a fresh new look that sees it match the alternative, eye-catching design of the energy drink, filled with zigs and zags.

Alpha Sports Nutrition has not changed anything on the inside of its Rush pre-workout, with 5g of pure citrulline per serving plus glycine and betaine for pumps, half a gram of tyrosine for focus, the ever-present beta-alanine at its usual 3.2g for performance, and 250mg of caffeine driving the energy. The big question is if the look the South African brand has introduced for Rush is set to spread across the rest of its selection, although for now, it is just on the Rush pre-workout and energy drink.

There are a lot of different categories covered by the Alpha Sports Nutrition catalog, so a complete rebrand would be no easy feat, but we’ll have to wait and see if this is a line-wide revamp or specifically for the brand’s Rush-named products.
