Barebells makes four different protein powders but they’re not easy to find

Barebells Protein Powder

Barebells is known — internationally known — as an absolute powerhouse in the world of functional food, being the brand behind our unstoppable top-rated best protein bar on the market, the signature Barebells Protein Bar. It has dabbled in other categories and formats, including frozen treats with some of the best protein ice cream and desserts we’ve ever had the pleasure of eating. This year, the brand also jumped into the saturated protein powder space, but it’s not something you can easily track down.

In Europe, specifically Germany, you can find many of Barebells delicious protein snacks, with many different flavors of its lower-protein but smoother-consistency Soft Protein Bar, the plant-based Barebells Vegan Bar, and the candy bar-like Barebells Protein Bar. Also, in that part of the world is a family of protein powders, the first time we’ve ever seen the functional innovator in the supplement space with four entries: Barebells Whey Protein, Clear Whey Protein, Vegan Protein, and Casein Protein.

Barebells Whey Protein

Each of the Barebells protein powders explains itself in its name with Barebells Whey Protein and Clear Whey Protein powered by whey, with the former in traditional milkshake flavors like Salted Milk Chocolate and Strawberry Sundae, and the latter, a refreshing Peach. The other two are Vegan Protein, relying on pea isolate for 22g of protein a serving, low carbohydrates and fat, and 117 calories, and finally, Casein Protein, with milk concentrate (80% casein) for a slower release of 26g of protein.

The Barebells protein powders, Whey Protein, Clear Whey Protein, Vegan Protein, and Casein Protein are not in the giant markets like here in the US, Canada, the UK, or even its own home country of Sweden. Germany is one of the major places you’ll find the supplements, including through its direct-to-consumer online store at barebells.de. The prices there are not too bad, including €34.99 for a 2lb bag of Whey Protein, and there are three flavors for Whey and Casein, and one each for the other two.
