Mexico’s Comics Energy gives fans a gainer with over 1,000 calories in a giant 13lb bag

Comics Energy Comic Gainer

Mexican supplement company Comics Energy is a colorful line of products from the sports nutrition giant Advantage Nutrition. It may have only hit the market earlier this year, but it is having an impact and making itself known for its wide variety of supplements for all sorts of crucial categories. The brand also proudly infuses almost every one of its items with the powerhouse AstraGin, known for its ability to increase and enhance absorption for better overall efficacy.

The latest innovation from Comics Energy in Mexico is for a popular type of supplement, at least internationally, in a high-calorie gainer. The brand has titled the product Comic Gainer, and it sticks to standard ingredients for the two all-important macronutrients — protein and carbohydrates — and you get plenty of both. Every serving of Comic Gainer gives you 56g of protein, and while we haven’t seen the complete nutrition label, we’re guessing the carbs sit somewhere around the 200g mark as the total calories per serving is damn high, in the four-figure range at 1,092.

You can grab Comic Gainer directly from Comics Energy’s online store, where it is currently only available in one flavor, but it does sound like a rather delicious experience, especially knowing the carbohydrates you get per serving, in Chocolate Nuts. The price on a single unit of the supplement is $799 (39.52 USD) which is pricey for a straightforward gainer but this is for a massive 13lb bag, not the traditional two or five pound tub, likely working out to about 20+ servings.
