Myprotein expands its Origin Series with a blend-style protein featuring a full dose of creatine

Myprotein Origin Protein

The Origin Series is a more specialized, advanced selection of supplements from the international giant Myprotein, originally involving three items: Pre-Workout, Pump Pre-Workout, and a dry-scoop version of Pre-Workout. The sports nutrition brand has now put together something for the other end of your workout by way of protein powder, simply named Origin Protein, and very similar to that initial selection, it features a reliable formula to provide a lean, high-protein nutrition profile with a muscle-building twist.

Myprotein’s Origin Series protein powder provides 30g of protein a serving, coming from a blend of whey concentrate and micellar casein, with 3.3g of carbohydrates, around half of that sugar, about 2g of fat, and 152 calories. The muscle-building twist to the supplement is why it has such a large serving size, close to 50g at 47, and that is the inclusion of creatine monohydrate. You get a full and effective dose of the traditional strength, performance, and power ingredient at 5.7g, yielding the usual 5g.

You will pay a little bit more than your usual blend-style protein powder for Myprotein’s Origin Protein, especially compared to its own signature Impact Whey Protein, at £39.99 (50.73 USD) for a tub of 25 servings. That is currently discounted over at myprotein.com, where you’ll pay 30% less at an extremely reasonable £27.99 (35.52 USD). There are three flavors to choose from, all of them sounding rather delicious in Chocolate Chip Cookie, a limited edition Cinnamon Swirl, and lastly, a Biscoff-like Caramelized Biscuit.
