Max Protein and Conguitos get together for a peanut cream-filled flavor of Blackmax

Max Protein Conguitos Blackmax

Blackmax is one of the first functional foods that put Spanish brand Max Protein on our radar due to its Oreo-like branding and Oreo-style product with its moderate protein and low sugar twists. The innovation is a cookie sandwich with two crunchy, crumbly chocolate cookies, and in between is a sweet and smooth cream. As mentioned, there is a functional spin to the food, where there is a bit more protein than an Oreo cookie sandwich and significantly less sugar with a similar taste and texture.

Max Protein has had Blackmax available for quite some time, even producing a chocolate-covered spin-off in Blackmax Total Choc, in your choice of milk chocolate and white chocolate. The functional company has now come out with an authentic collaboration with that particular product, where it has once again teamed up with the popular Spanish candy brand Conguitos. After putting the classic candy into protein powder, cream of rice, and protein bars, it is infusing its Blackmax cookies with Conguitos.

The latest collaboration between Max Protein and Conguitos is a bit different from the protein powder and bars, where instead of Conguitos candy pieces, the health and nutrition company has used its popular peanut cream. That peanut-flavored cream is what you’ll find between the chocolate cookies of the authentic Conguitos Blackmax launching this month in Spain. The product has a similar nutrition breakdown as the original chocolate and vanilla cream Blackmax, providing 3.8g of protein per sandwich, 7.1g of carbohydrates, just a gram of that sugar, 4.4g of fat, and 85 calories.
