Vast made a lot of moves last year, improving many of its popular sports nutrition products, dropping some all-new supplement innovations, and getting creative with flavor extensions. Heading into the New Year, the growing European brand is getting into a space it had yet to touch, despite it being very common for companies in that part of the world to be present. Vast has taken its signature protein powder and spun it off into a protein bar, introducing the AWhey Bar.
The protein snack promises a soft main body with crispy pieces across the top, and all covered in a rich chocolate coating. Vast hasn’t started the product with a complicated variety of flavors; there is just the one in Original White Crisp, fitting, seeing as it’s covered in sweet white chocolate. The protein is more moderate, falling just below the heights of the classic 20g at 16.5g in a 50g bar from whey isolate and casein, with 13g of carbohydrates, under 2g of sugar, and 170 calories.
As with all good launches, Vast is celebrating the debut of its AWhey Bar by offering a discount for those willing to give it a try by way of 10% off an entire box of 12 pieces. It’s not a huge saving but a saving nonetheless, bringing the functional food down from €30.90 to €27.81.
