4+ Nutrition makes higher-dosed and convenient shot versions of Fuel+

4 Plus Fuel 30 And 45

The bright yellow supplement company 4+ Nutrition has always had a flare for the performance and endurance space, formulating all sorts of electrolytes-fueled, carbohydrate-powered, and energizing products. The Italian brand has made many supplements relying on carbs for fuel and performance, and it has done that once again this month with two spin-offs of Fuel+. Now available from 4+ Nutrition are the bulk powder Fuel+ 45 CHO and the convenient squeeze gel formula Fuel+ 30 CHO.

The original Fuel+ centers around a 20g serving, providing 17g of carbohydrates, specifically from a 5:4 blend of maltodextrin and fructose. There are also electrolytes in the supplement at a combined total of 585mg from the likes of sodium, magnesium, and potassium. The new Fuel+ 45 CHO is essentially the same sort of thing but with bigger servings providing 45g of carbohydrates and that same malto-to-fructose ratio. As for Fuel+ 30 CHO, that scales the formula to provide 30g of carbs in a 50ml squeeze gel, and they do both have an infusion of electrolytes for hydration and performance.

Interestingly, the two extensions from 4+ Nutrition are very much as they sound: a higher-dosed version of Fuel+ in Fuel+ 45 CHO and a marginally higher-dosed, more convenient version in the gel shot, Fuel+ 30 CHO. You can purchase either of the supplements directly from 4+ Nutrition’s online store, where 45 CHO will cost you €29.99 (31.38 USD) for a bottle of the usual 30 servings in Orange Tango and Peach Lemonade flavors, and for 30 CHO, it’s €2.50 for a single serve pouch and €60 for a box of 24.
