GAAM sticks to purely electrolytes in its dedicated hydration supplement

Gaam Electrolyte

The hydration category has swiftly become a go-to for sports nutrition brands, and you can see that by looking at the majority of competitors in the space. Dedicated hydration supplements are now as common as amino cocktails were a decade ago, and they are for the same sort of window: during your workout or general exercise. GAAM Nutrition, one of the house brands from Proteinbolaget in Sweden, has joined in on the expansion of the category with the straightforward GAAM Electrolyte.

True to its name, GAAM Nutrition’s GAAM Electrolyte is a standalone electrolyte supplement featuring nothing else but essential electrolytes to support hydration, performance, and recovery. The brand brings together a variety of sources to provide a breakdown of 517mg of sodium, 92mg of calcium, 153mg of potassium, and 30mg of magnesium, totaling 792mg. The product is straight to the point, again, exclusively featuring electrolytes, and it is flavored, available in two tastes to start, both fruity.

GAAM Nutrition’s basic GAAM Electrolyte comes in Lemon Lime and Passion Fruit flavors, each with the usual 30 servings a bottle, which will last a month using it once a day, or one and a half months during training at five times a week. The price is nice and low, as you’d expect from an electrolyte-only supplement at 199kr (18.72 USD) or as low as 179kr (16.84 USD) if you go with one of Proteinbolaget’s bulk options.
