Legacy UK health and nutrition company Maxi Nutrition has added another offering to its selection of convenient functional items, like the protein beverage MaxShake and the signature Maxi Protein Bar. Joining that family this month are two more flavors of the Waffle Protein Bar. The product is as unique and intriguing as it sounds, although it doesn’t get too heavy on protein, with a more moderate 10g of protein per piece and a multi-textured build that offers a one-of-a-kind experience.
Maxi Nutrition’s Waffle Protein Bar has a layered, crispy waffle cone base, a nice change of pace compared to the more common dense and doughy bottom you find in your typical protein bar. In combination with the waffle cone section, which is where you get the name of the product from, are layers of gooey flavorful cream, crunchy pieces, and fillings that vary from flavor to flavor, and all wrapped in a decadent chocolate outer, rolling together for a delicious, multi-textured bite.
Previously, in the United Kingdom, Maxi Nutrition had the one flavor on the menu for its Waffle Protein Bar in Hazelnut Spread, a classic blend of milk chocolate and hazelnut. Making it three flavors in February are two less common but equally complementing creations in Milk Hazelnut and Milk Coconut, both featuring that waffle cone build and intricate blend of tastes. They’re available direct starting this week at £19.99 for a box of 12 pieces (24.86 USD) for any of the three flavors.
