Metalab relies entirely on superior beta-lactoglobulin in its clear style protein powder

Metalab Jucy Protein

Nutritech isn’t the only South African supplement company getting in on the subcategory of clear protein powder, with the always creative and well-branded Metalab following suit. It’s surprising the brand took this long to act on the trend, as it’s always been up with the times and ahead of its local market, even keeping pace with those in the US. Jucy Protein is the clear innovation from Metalab that’s officially hitting the market next week.

Metalab’s Jucy Protein is due to debut in two clear and refreshing, fruit-themed flavors, one of them being relatively typical and familiar in OG Lemonade, while the other is a lot more uncommon in Litchi Juice, based on the juicy lychee fruit. The brand has stepped things up on the formula side, separating it from most other competitors, as Jucy gets all of its protein from the premium, superior, and higher BCAA concentration beta-lactoglobulin.

Beta-lactoglobulin is the common ingredient behind some of the best-tasting clear-style protein powders, and that is precisely what Metalab’s Jucy Protein is using to provide 20g of protein per serving, no carbohydrates, zero fat, 80 calories, and a refreshing taste. The brand may not have been onto clear protein as quickly as expected, but it’s done it well from ingredients to nutrition, and again, it’s coming to market in the coming weeks.
