Details emerge on a three-flavor Sour Series for the Prime Hydration Drink

Sournova Prime Hydration Drink

Beverage behemoth Prime from the mega influencers Logan Paul and KSI came out swinging at the start of the year, dropping a whole bunch of special edition reskins, flavor extensions, and even an upsize with the 33% bigger 16oz version of the Prime Energy Drink. Things did slow down somewhat recently, but that all appears to be for good reason, as details have emerged of a new series of flavors that we have to assume is the next lot of products to hit the market from Prime.

Images and information have come out on what we’re calling the Prime Sour Series, consisting of three sour-named flavors of the brand’s signature Prime Hydration Drink. The collection includes the Sournova Prime Hydration Drink, Sour Flare Prime, and the most sour experience of the lot, Death By Sour Prime. There has been mention of the Sournova Prime in Europe, suggesting when all of this comes out, it won’t be limited to the US, as we’ve seen with most of the brand’s drops.

The Prime Sour Series reminds us of the innovation we saw from Powerade last year in its Sour Series, although those sports drinks were full of sugar, not low sugar like the Prime Hydration Drink, and more flavor-specific. Again, the names of the entries in the line are Sournova, Sour Flare, and Death By Sour Prime, making it sound like each one differentiates more by its sourness. This is all based on samples and images that are floating around out there, which suggests more official details, including a complete announcement from Prime itself, are right around the corner.
