Boba Tea recreates the iconic Ramune soda as a fizzy flavor of its Collagen Protein

Boba Tea Protein Japanese Soda

Ramune is an iconic beverage out of Japan, and something that has made its way west into the health and nutrition industry as a flavor of protein powders, gaming products, and even pre-workouts. There aren’t a whole lot of brands that attempt to replicate the taste, as while the original Ramune soda from Japan is a classic lemon lime, it is one of a kind. However, earlier this week, that is precisely what the legendary crew at the eastern-influenced Boba Tea Protein has done.

Boba Tea Protein has indeed replicated the legendary Japanese soda Ramune and turned it into a flavor of its own Collagen Protein. It promises all of the same citrus notes and tastes but in the form of a collagen-based supplement, providing 10g of collagen per serving to support healthy hair, skin, and nails. As is usually the case with collagen products, the other macros are almost nonexistent, with no fat, under a gram of carbohydrates, zero sugar, and a calorie count of just 50.

To give it that extra convincing touch, Boba Tea Protein’s Ramune or officially titled Japanese Soda Collagen Protein, has a bit of fizz or carbonation, bringing it closer to the original soda. The brand even put together a page dedicated to preparing the flavor to get it absolutely perfect. Again, the product did hit the market earlier this week, and while it sold out almost immediately, like most of the drops from Boba Tea, it will be restocked in the near future, so keep an eye out.
