Dr. Peanut in Brazil joins the list of brands dropping a protein bar at the Arnold in Brazil

Dr Peanut Doctor Bar

Brazilian brands like to pump out innovations alongside the annual Arnold Sports Festival South America, and this weekend at the Expo Center Norte in Sao Paulo, it is no different. Similar to Nutrex, domestic peanut-based functional specialist Dr. Peanut has debuted a protein snack in the classic bar format. The innovation is called the Doctor Protein Bar, and while the brand does have plenty of high-protein foods and treats available, surprisingly, a bar was not one of them.

Dr. Peanut’s Doctor Protein Bar squeezes a respectable 21g of protein into every piece, triple what you get in any of its many flavors of the Protein Alfajor, although to be fair, that functional food is absolutely delicious. While we haven’t had the bar yet, so we can’t comment on it, knowing Dr. Peanut has plenty of experience in the space gives us confidence in the Doctor Bar. The product has debuted in three flavors, with Chocolate Hazelnut, Cookies & Cream, and Doce De Leite.

The Doctor Protein Bar is on show, as well as available to try and buy at Dr. Peanut’s booth at the Arnold Sports Festival South America, all weekend long. Following the convention, the brand will be shipping the product out to retailers and presumably make it available through its online store where you can buy all of its other offerings, including its clean peanut butter and protein powder.
