Monster changes the name of its Lewis Hamilton energy drink to Full Throttle

Full Throttle Monster Energy Drink

With the season well under way, Formula 1 fans will already know that the legendary driver Lewis Hamilton is no longer with the team that helped earn him almost all of his seven World Championship Titles. For 2025, Hamilton moved over to Ferrari, and with that shift has come talks of him leaving his longtime energy drink sponsor, Monster Energy. The two have worked together closely over the years, and even made two special edition Lewis Hamilton energy drinks.

The most recent collaboration between Monster Energy and Lewis Hamilton is a sweet peach and nectarine flavor combination featuring a blue, green, and magenta color combination on its can, with the beverage giant’s signature logo in bright yellow. Many energy drink connoisseurs may have noticed this but sometime recently, around that move by Hamilton from Mercedes to Ferrari, the special edition beverage has become the Full Throttle Monster Energy Drink.

From what we know, Monster Energy has not changed anything about the product, going from the original Lewis Hamilton Edition to the newly named Full Throttle. The original peach and nectarine flavor combination is expected to be identical, and the guilt-free factor remains with no sugar and just 14 calories in a half-liter can. If you’re a fan of that Lewis Hamilton flavor, the good news is it’s not going anywhere, and even better, it has almost no change in appearance.
