Last year’s Winter Edition Red Bull becomes a permanent entry called Ice Edition

Ice Edition Red Bull Energy Drink

Every now and then, a limited-time flavor from one of Red Bull’s seasonal series, Winter Edition and Summer Edition, proves so popular that the energy drink leader decides to bring it back as an ongoing product under a different name. We saw this with the absolutely delicious Strawberry Apricot Red Bull from a few years ago. Originally, it was a short-lived Summer Edition, but now you can find it year-round as the Amber Edition Red Bull with that same addictively sweet experience.

Just last year, Red Bull introduced another unique recipe under its Winter Edition series, blending vanilla, blueberry, and a splash of eucalyptus. The flavor went by a few different names depending on the country, with Iced Vanilla Berry, Iced Cotton Candy, or Iced Gummy Bear. Red Bull has now made the call to take that end-of-life Winter Edition Iced Gummy Bear and make it permanent. Like Strawberry Apricot, its overall name has changed to the Ice Edition Red Bull energy drink.

The permanent return of Iced Gummy Bear as Ice Edition Red Bull is already available in the beverage behemoth’s home country of Austria as well as in neighboring Germany and Switzerland. It has that same original taste combination of vanilla, blueberry, and eucalyptus, and while it is only in select markets in Europe, it is expected to spread elsewhere, similar to the availability of the original Winter Edition.
