MuscleMeds turns its innovative Carnivor Protein Hydration into a powder supplement

Musclemeds Carnivor Protein Hydration Supplement

MuscleMeds did something quite different around the middle of last year, combining its signature supplement, the beef-powered protein powder Carnivor, with one of the fastest growing sports nutrition categories in hydration. The result was Carnivor Protein Hydration, but for the cherry on top, the brand made it a beverage. It was a surprising innovation, to say the least, and starting this week, you can get it in bulk powder format.

First came the Carnivor Protein Hydration drink, and now we have Carnivor Protein Hydration in a format MuscleMeds is significantly more familiar with in a bulk powder supplement. The core features are about the same in the spin-off, providing 20g of protein per serving, all coming from hydrolyzed beef isolate, with just a gram of carbohydrates, no fat, and 80 calories. The electrolytes are there, too, for hydration and performance, breaking down into 65mg of calcium, half a gram of chloride, 370mg of sodium, and 240mg of potassium.

That electrolyte balance is much the same as the original Carnivor Protein Hydration beverage, although in that one, there is 30g of protein, compared to 20g in every serving of the bulk powder supplement. The cost of the Carnivor Protein Hydration supplement is obviously much more cost-effective, selling directly through the brand’s online store at $31.50 for a tub of 20 servings in Watermelon, Tropical Punch, and Cherry Lime flavors.
