V reskins two of its energy drinks in support of the Auckland Warriors

Warriors X V Energy Drink

New Zealand is one of those rare areas of the world where one of the leading energy drinks is a domestic competitor in the signature green V Energy Drink. It is available in neighboring Australia, but it has a huge presence in its original market and it continues to do things that cement that lead. The beverage brand has partnered wtih the Auckland Warriors, a popular rugby league team from New Zealand, and together they’ve created two special edition cans.

You can see the reskin or specially marked can of the original V Energy Drink in the image above — also Blue V Energy Drink — which brings onboard the Warrior’s classic blue, green and red colors, and in the team’s front, the words “Up The Wahs”. It’s a chanting phrase fans cheer on their favorite team with, “Wahs” being a shortened slang word for Warriors”, and V is playing right into that loyal fanbase with its limited time reskinned energy drinks.
