Catalina Crunch is a better-for-you, healthy snacking innovator known for protein-packed cereal in several delicious flavors like Triple Berry Blast, Honey Nut Almonds, and Maple Waffle. The brand also has a protein-focused snack mix and lower-calorie sandwich cookies, also both in a variety of flavors. New to the Catalina Crunch catalog this month is Protein Granola, fitting right alongside its signature cereal.
Protein Granola from Catalina Crunch couldn’t be more obvious in its name, with bags of tasty and wholesome granola that’s got more protein than your standard offering. The product is made with a family of crunchy nuts in peanuts, cashews, and almonds, whole oats, brown rice, crispy soy protein pieces, and its protein cereal. The innovation still has a fair amount of carbohydrates, but the balance of protein is better.

Catalina Crunch has pumped up the protein in its Protein Granola to 13g in a serving of 65g, almost triple that in carbohydrates at 31 to 35g, almost none of that sugar at 1 to 2g, 13g of fat, and 260 to 280 calories. The protein would’ve been nicer at a one-to-one ratio to carbs, although again, it is better than your typical granola, and the brand has kept the recipe nice and clean with real food ingredients.
There are three flavors to choose from for Catalina Crunch’s new Protein Granola in Peanut Butter, made with actual peanut butter, Honey Cashew, and the lowest calorie one of the bunch at 260 per serving in Vanilla Almond. You can find the brand’s newest breakfast creation in its many retail partners or go direct and get it from catalinacrunch.com, where a small 8oz pouch will cost you the premium price of $9.49.
