David is currently ONLY selling its raw cod through its official online store

David Bars All Out Of Stock

David and its wild-caught Pacific cod have been in the news several times over the last couple of weeks, mostly due to how surprisingly unique the product launch is, and even more so, how far it’s following through. For those who have been living under a rock, the maker of the incomparable nutrition David Protein Bar has brought to market a box of raw cod fillets, featuring some of the cleanest macros you’ll ever see, even better than its signature snack.

In the latest twist to the David saga, and this is what has us thinking the whole wild-caught Pacific cod is leading to something, is that everything on the brand’s website is now out of stock, except for its cod. We’re not sure just how long this has been the case, but it’s something to take note of. Basically, if you’re a consumer who goes to davidprotein.com to buy a box of the famous David Protein Bar, your only option at the moment is the protein-packed cod.

David and its protein bar are still available in other locations, including online at the likes of Amazon and in major retailers; it is only the brand’s website that has that coincidental out-of-stock status. This, paired with the announcement that David is putting the wild-caught meat into distribution, has us eagerly awaiting that “gotcha” moment. It’s been two weeks since the brand launched the product, and since then, it’s been interesting moments, one after another.
