HTLT’s Greg Doucette calls out Gorilla Mind and its Turk Plex with lab tests

Doucette Shares Lab Results Of Turk Plex

Years ago, the reputable retailer and brand Nootropics Depot shared testing results on two of the sports nutrition industry’s most popular turkesterone-based supplements in Gorilla Mind’s simply named Turkesterone and HTLT’s Turk Builder. The lab testing showed that neither of them had the percentage of actual turkesterone expected; there was some, but there was significantly more of the ecdysteroid ecdysterone.

Since then, the interest from brands in turkesterone supplements has died down, although HTLT eventually came back and launched a completely new and reliably sourced Uzbekistan turkesterone product in Turk Builder. Greg Doucette has now come out and done similar to what Nootropics Depot did back in 2022; however he specifically tested Gorilla Mind’s current turkesterone product Turk-Plex, featuring half a gram of arjuga turkestanica per capsule, standardized to 10% ecdysteroids.

Htlt Tests Turk Plex

In lab results from HTLT and Greg Doucette, it shows that no turkesterone was found and the total amount of ecdysteroids, more precisely ecdysterone, is 8.96mg per capsule. That’s a long way off the 10% standardization down to 1.8%, although that’s not the point Doucette is focusing on. As he says in his video, there is no ajuga turkestanica in existence that doesn’t have traces of turkesterone, and with Turk-Plex detecting none, he’s suggesting ajuga turkestanica may not be in Gorilla Mind’s Turk Plex.

It is an interesting point Greg Doucette has made, even though it’s one supplement company to another, he seems to have come to the table with all of the necessary details. In his video “Derek Just Messed Up.”, Derek, being the man behind Gorilla Mind, Doucette goes into more detail about the testing method and a few other things, and you can watch the entire 20-minute rundown for yourself on YouTube in this link here.
