Authentic flavors collaborations don’t tend to make it across into international markets, and it’s not because brands don’t want to ship them all the way over to another country. Many times, it is because the license may only be for a particular type of product for a specific part of the world, and it may just not be possible to bring that to other regions. That has not stopped Cellucor from doing exactly that with its Hershey’s and Reese’s collaborations.
Last year, the legacy brand and pre-workout specialist, Cellucor, came out with its first-ever C4-named protein powder in C4 Whey Protein. The supplement is relatively straightforward, featuring a whey-based formula and a standard nutrition profile, but it’s the flavors that make it stand out. The brand debuted the product in a standard Vanilla Bean flavor as well as two authentic collaborations in Hershey’s Milk Chocolate and Reese’s Peanut Butter.
Cellucor has now brought its Hershey’s and Reese’s flavors of C4 Whey Protein to the United Kingdom, and not just through its own website or specialty supplement stores. The international powerhouse has gone and thrown them into the giant retailers Boots and Holland & Barrett, giving it a great amount of awareness. Cellucor has produced them with a few sizes to choose from, too, in 22 and 46 serving tubs as well as a trial-style 13 serving bag.
