Introducing FroPro and its incredibly impressive selection of higher protein foods

Introducing Fropro Functional Foods

There are a few true food-first functional innovators around the world, and one of the best examples we have of that is Real Good Foods. It is a brand that puts truly high-protein, low-carbohydrate twists on familiar meals and foods, including chicken nuggets, burgers, burritos, enchiladas, and so much more. There are some others that have done the same, like Gold Standard Nutrition and the Gym Kitchen in the United Kingdom, and now in Australia, we have FroPro.

FroPro has been around for some time but has only popped up on our radar recently due to its promise of launching ten all-new innovations in the very near future. After we saw that, we dug deeper into its catalog, and it has put out some incredibly impressive products. The brand’s Protein Pots are a strong offering, basically putting protein-packed meals in a quick and easy pot, with up to 41g of protein, a bit more than that in carbohydrates, and all from clean and quality foods.

Other great creations from the FroPro team include Protein Burritos, Protein Pizza, and its own take on the local classic, a Protein Pot Pie or Protein Pie. Compared to your standard meat pie in Australia, the nutrition on FroPro’s offering is incredible, with 30g of protein, an almost one-to-one in protein to carbohydrates with 36g of carbs, under 2g of sugar, 15g of fat, and 401 calories. It’s essentially a balanced meal, however, in the typically higher carb and fat, pot pie format.

The standout from the FroPro line for us is its FPFC, a clean fried chicken that is coated in a special recipe to build on the protein of the chicken. The name is a nod to the legendary KFC and stands for FroPro Fried Chicken, and not only is it absolutely delicious, but the macros are second-to-none. The FPFC Fried Chicken Breast Tenders have 40g of protein per serving, only 9g of carbohydrates, 5g of fat, and 258 calories; a nutrition balance that is better than almost any protein bar.

Introducing Fropro High Protein Foods

FroPro is worth checking out on its website, although if you’re from Australia, it sounds as though you may already be familiar with the fast-growing brand. FroPro has got its products in some of the biggest supermarkets in the country, including Coles and Woolworths, very similar to the powerhouse Real Good Foods in Walmart and Target here in the US. Either way, be on the lookout over the next few days or weeks as we brace for the huge 10 new products FroPro has coming.
