One of the more interesting things that the functional poewrhouse David does that you won’t see from almost every other protein snacking company is third-party testing results. If you visit the individual product pages on the brand’s website at davidprotein.com, you can click on the Light Labs tab. Through there, you can see how well the most recent batch of bars test out and are broken down into each individual flavor.
David shows actual third-party lab test results for the likes of heavy metals, bisphenols, phthalates, PFAS, and, for the nutrition-focused individuals out there, protein. This isn’t something new for David, it has been doing it for a while, but even more interestingly, it is also doing it for its newly released ice cream. On davidprotein.com, under the pints tab, you can click on the four flavors of the frozen dessert and see the results.
Having this sort of transparency, sharing third-party results on every batch is rare for supplements, for protein bars, it’s almost unheard of, and it’s even rarer for protein ice cream. You can check it all out for yourself on David’s website, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised with the protein. According to davidprotein.com, Light Labs found the latest round of David Protein Ice Cream has 13% more protein than the label at 13g per pint.
