Powerade refreshes its functional Power Water with more electrolytes and four tasty flavors

Powerade 50 More Electrolytes Power Water

Power Water is a past product drop from the legacy sports drink brand Powerade, which took on the water category with some flavor and an infusion of electrolytes. It was about what you’d expect from the company expanding in that particular direction, but it has been missing in action these past few years. For 2025, Powerade is looking to bring the innovation back with a similar revamp to what it did to its flagship beverage in 2023.

Powerade still has the callout of 50% more electrolytes, which was introduced in that revamp from a couple of years ago, where it did indeed increase the amount of electrolytes you get per bottle by a respectable 50%. With the refreshed Power Water, Powerade is applying that same improvement, offering 50% more electrolytes to further improve and support hydration, performance, and recovery, in the flavored Power Water.

Simply put, the new version of Powerade’s Power Water is better than its predecessor, and another feature from the original that has been brought over into the 2025 edition is that it has absolutely no sugar for minimal calories. There will be four flavors rolling out for the functional water, all featuring a fruity touch with Mountain Berry Blast, Tropical Pineapple, a classic Strawberry Kiwi, and last but not least, Watermelon.
