David has gone ahead and done something that’s incredibly rare to see and should be commended. What we’re talking about is posting its third-party tested lab results, which is something many brands do for their pill and powder supplements, but not something you’ll see from functional food companies. David is now doing that for its signature David Protein Bar, publishing the PDFs straight to its website for everyone to see.
All of the brand’s flavors listed on its Third Party Testing page at davidprotein.com have just the one most recent test posted, Fudge Brownie, for example, which is dated the 7th of this month. Once you’ve selected the flavor, you can run through the various sections of lab results, the first and one of the most important being protein. All of them show above the claimed 28g; the Salted Peanut Butter is actually 8% over at 30.3g.
You can check it all out for yourself, going over the protein, heavy metals, phthalates, and more at davidprotein.com. The brand will continue to upload results as it produces future batches, offering an extra level of reliability to the David Protein Bar that you genuinely won’t see from the majority of other protein bars.
