The innovation and excitement continue at FroPro in Australia, as it continues to drive toward that goal of ten all-new products, six of which we’ve seen in the past few weeks, including Protein Dumplings and just yesterday, two new flavors of its Protein Cheesecake. This time around, we’ve got new flavors of the creative brand’s Protein Pizza Slices, not its full-size pizzas, the rectangular one that has two pieces per box.
FroPro already had two recipes to choose from for its Protein Pizza Slices with BBQ Chicken and Pepperoni, both available at Woolworths and only Pepperoni at Coles. The new extensions to the menu of the protein product are Cheeseburger, where you get classic cheeseburger ingredients on top of a doughy pizza base, like beef, pickles, cheese, and onion. The other one is Italian Lasagne, taking the same approach, although you get Italian Lasagne features on that in beef, cheese, and bechamel sauce.
As with all of FroPro’s innovative functional foods, the new flavors of the Protein Pizza Slices are packed with protein at 26 to 27g per piece, around 20g of carbohydrates, under 4g of that sugar, in and around 10g of fat, and 290 to 313 calories. Similar to the original flavors of FroPro’s Protein Slices, the availability of these is split, with Cheeseburger going to Woolworths supermarkets and Italian Lasagne at Coles.
