Legendary Foods has made a whole bunch noise this weekend with the preview of a couple of new flavors of some of its innovative, already available functional foods. First, we shared details of a tremendously promising Apple Beignet Protein Pastry and a Cookies & Cream Protein Donut covered in cookie pieces. As they say, good things come in threes, and that is the case here, with Legendary also previewing another extension of its Protein Pastry on Amazon.
Also on the way from Legendary Foods is a Spicy Cinnamon Protein Pastry, blending that nostalgic Pop-Tart, or toaster pastry format with a fiery cinnamon experience. The brand already has a Frosted Cinnamon option on the menu for Protein Pastry, and we’re guessing this one will be similar, but again, with a spicy touch. It still has the product’s usual high protein at 22g per piece, under a gram of sugar, minimal fat, and a calorie count likely around 200.
As with those other upcoming items mentioned, the Apple Beignet Protein Pastry and a Cookies & Cream Protein Donut, the Spicy Cinnamon Protein Pastry is currently just coming soon, according to Amazon, and with that listing, we’re guessing it’ll be here soon.
