Vital Protein introduces its first-ever beverage featuring a blend of milk and collagen

Vital Proteins Collagen Protein Shake

Collagen Peptides is the signature supplement from the wellness brand Vital Proteins, and through the years, it has expanded into similarly beneficial health categories and exploded the menu of its original hit product. The latest from the brand is a combination of a whole new supplement and an extension of Vital’s straightforward Collagen Peptides, introducing the ready-to-drink Vital Proteins Collagen Protein Shake.

The innovation isn’t necessarily a premixed version of the original Collagen Peptides; it’s very much its own standalone product providing 30g of protein from a blend of milk concentrate and collagen to also support healthy hair, skin, nails, and joints. Vital Proteins is quite transparent in its Collagen Protein Shake too, outlining that of the 30g of protein per bottle, 20g is from milk protein, and the remaining 10g is collagen.

The rest of the nutrition profile in Vital Proteins’ Collagen Protein Shake is 3g of carbohydrates, just a gram of that sugar, 2.5g of fat, and 160 calories. The brand has gone the naturally sweetened route, using monk fruit and stevia for the product’s lone Chocolate flavor. The ready-to-drink milk and collagen shake is available now from Walmart at a reasonable $8.98 for a pack of four 11oz bottles, working out to $2.25 a piece.
