Monster prepares to release its shockingly smooth Electric Blue energy drink

Electric Blue Monster Energy Drink

Energy drink giant Monster is not only one of the most dominating players in the category, but it is also one of the most innovative. There isn’t a competitor out there that pumps out as many different caffeinated beverages as Monster, from its signature green and Juice Monster, to Rehab and Monster Ultra. We’re about to get another one of those with the shockingly smooth Electric Blue Monster Energy.

The upcoming Electric Blue beverage seems to be an extension of that signature green Monster Energy Drink. As mentioned, it describes itself as shockingly smooth, and if we’re going off the name, we’re guessing the taste is some sort of tangy or sour blue raspberry. Electric Blue Monster Energy is a full sugar product with 54g of carbohydrates in a 16oz can, 51g of that added sugar, for a total of 210 calories.

You get all of the usual active ingredients of an energy drink from Monster in Electric Blue, with taurine, B vitamins, carnitine, and, of course, energizing caffeine at a moderate 160mg. We could see this turning into a whole new collection, Electric Red, Electric Green, and so on, especially if it’s a sour series of sorts.
